Nanortalik

Nanortalik is the southernmost town in Greenland with around 1.450 inhabitants. It’s located on an island just before the magnificent Tasermiut fjord 100 km north of Kap Farvel, the southern tip of Greenland.

Nanortalik was founded in 1797 by hunters from Qaqortoq as a trade station. It was in 1830 moved to it’s present location.
