Welcome to Maniitsoq
Situated on an island in central west Greenland 250 km north of the capital Nuuk. Maniitsoq is the fourth largest town in Greenland with 2.800 inhabitants. Populated for more than 3.000-4.000 years by the Saqqaq culture.
The Maniitsoq area offers some of the best and most challenging skiing areas in Greenland. Famous for its heli-skiing in surrounding mountains. One of the best place in the world for summer-skiing is the Apussuit area.
